Bright, deep red. Darker on the nose than the cabernet franc bottling, offering scents of blueberry, dark plum, licorice pastille and tobacco. Densely packed, broad and concentrated, with a chewy texture to its flavors of dark fruits and coffee bean. Shows serious tannic clout without dryness, finishing with building dusty tannins and very good length.
