Composed from a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Cinsaut, the 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Réserve comes in at 14.5% alcohol. Although slightly reductive at first, swirling the glass gradually reveals delicate rose petal, ripe raspberry, strawberry and mint aromas. Showing a little more muscle than the Les Olivets from the same vintage, it is framed by smooth tannins and balanced by lively acidity, ending with good persistence on the savory finish.
