The inaugural release of FARM Napa Valley by John Anthony Pinot Noir shows how great wines grow in the farmer’s shadow. Our vines speak for themselves when choosing the perfect ripeness for picking. Each unique vintage drives the decision to harvest. When the skins are soft, the seeds ripe, and the flavors concentrated, we schedule the pick—always at night when the grapes are coolest and with the most selective hands. The 2017 vintage has aromas of ripe red cranberries and raspberries with a touch of cherry-cola and rose petal. On the palate red fruit aromatics and rhubarb pie notes mingle with toasted oak spice giving this pinot noir a lovely bright yet lingering finish.
