A very ripe yet still quite fresh nose is comprised by notes of plum liqueur newly turned earth violet and a whiff of the sauvage all of which is trimmed in just enough wood to mention. The exceptionally rich and enveloping medium weight flavors possess very fine concentration while displaying impressive power on the mildly rustic finale.
